The AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR II features second-generation built-in Vibration Reduction (VRII), enabling you to shoot at shutter speeds up to four stops longer. This allows for sharper images when shooting handheld. In addition to M/A and M modes, an A/M mode has been added, making autofocus priority possible even when the focus ring is turned during shooting. Weighing 2,900 grams, this lens has everything serious action photographers need. Photographers who require very high speed but also silence for wildlife photography can rely on the autofocus with built-in Silent Wave Motor, which ensures that the quiet is not disturbed. The extensive feature set is rounded off with excellent sealing, making the lens resistant to dust and moisture so photographers can keep shooting in all conditions.
