Fujifilm GFX 100S II
The Fujifilm GFX 100S II is a medium format camera designed for the image maker who likes to capture all their images stunningly. Featuring a 102 megapixel CMOS II sensor (1.7x larger than a Full frame sensor), an X-Processor 5 and packed with features you need as an image-maker, the Camera effortlessly handles any shoot.
The large sensor can recognise and capture a variety of subjects with ease thanks to AI-based subject detection Autofocus. Animals, birds, cars, motorbikes, bikes, planes, trains, insects and Drones can therefore be captured even better. Autofocus is even faster and more accurate, now capturing up to 7 frames per second. Ideal for capturing moving subjects sharply, clearly and easily. The base ISO for shooting is fixed at 80, while for filming it is 100, giving your images a wider dynamic range with less noise.
You can capture Video with the GFX 100S II in 4K at 30 frames per second in 4:2:2 10bit on the Camera's internal SD card. You also have the option to record in Apple ProRes by connecting an external SSD. Images will thereby be even smoother than before thanks to in-body Image stabilisation that now suppresses vibrations by up to eight stops. You can track subjects even better thanks to the AF function and the AF-C + Wide/Tracking AF function even when there are multiple subjects in the image frame. The camera also features F-Log2, giving you a dynamic range of 13+ stops in video recording, and supports Frame.io Camera to Cloud. So you'll soon experience post-processing of all your images quickly, easily and efficiently.
The Fujifilm GFX100S II is equipped with a so-called "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot" function that controls the Camera's image stabilisation function with high accuracy. It does this by shifting the image sensor while shooting. A RAW file is then produced consisting of 16 shots in which the image sensor is shifted by 0.5 pixels per shot. By then adding these files together using the "Pixel Shift Combiner" Software, you can create an image with as many as 400 million pixels.
You can also choose to use the "Real Colour" function. This merges four RAW files with a shift of one pixel per shot. In this process, the resolution remains the same at 102 million pixels and false colours are completely suppressed.
When developing the body, the image maker's convenience was also considered. For example, the Camera is 104 millimetres high and 87 millimetres deep and weighs 883 grams, making it the lightest model within the GFX series so far. The Camera's body features BISHAMON-TEX material, giving you more grip when shooting and filming with the Camera.
