Canon EOS R7 body

The Canon EOS R7 is a fast APS-C mirrorless camera for the demanding hobbyist. The crop sensor with 32.5 megapixel guarantees razor-sharp photos and breathtaking videos in 4K resolution. Whether you're photographing wildlife, standing on the sidelines of sports fields or creating multimedia content, with the EOS R7 you have a fast yet compact camera at your disposal.

With a short start-up time and burst speeds up to 30fps, you capture moments that happen in a split second. Thanks to deep learning Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, focusing is smooth and fast. People, animals and vehicles are effortlessly detected with subject recognition, so focus is never off the mark again. For people, there's also specific eye, face and body detection. With a compatible lens, you also enjoy a focus area that covers your entire frame. AF tracking with auto exposure ensures correct exposure. Blurred images are a thing of the past thanks to IBIS (In-body Image Stabilisation), which compensates up to 8 stops, depending on the lens used.

The EOS R7 isn't just a great photo camera but also a fully-fledged video camera. With 4K 30p (oversampled from 7K), you capture your most memorable moments razor-sharp on film. High frame rate options are available with 4K 60p and Full HD 120p. The latter is also great for 4x slow motion footage. Canon C-Log 3 and HDR PQ support ensure a huge dynamic range. The maximum recording time of 6 hours offers a range of options for, for example, capturing performances, gatherings or other long events. With an input for headphones and a microphone, you also take the audio of your videos to a higher level.

Enjoy ultimate ease of use thanks to the intuitive controls and an integrated multi-controller. The EOS R7 has two card slots for a smooth workflow. This also means you always have the option to make a backup.

Canon RF 45mm f/1.2 STM

The Canon RF 45mm f/1.2 STM is a prime lens. Specially designed for creative photographers and videographers who want maximum control over depth of field and bokeh without sacrificing compactness and ease of use. With its unique focal length of 45mm, it forms the perfect middle ground between the classic 35mm and 50mm lenses.

Thanks to the high speed of f/1.2, this lens performs excellently in low light and lets you create an impressive background. This lens has more sharpness across the whole image compared to an RF 50mm f/1.8 lens. The STM stepping motor ensures fast, quiet and smooth focusing, ideal for both stills and video. For extra precision, the lens features a dedicated focus ring and control ring that work perfectly with the dual pixel AF system. You can focus from as close as 45cm, making it suitable for close-ups too.

The compact and lightweight design makes this lens suitable for hybrid workflows, rigs, gimbals and manual setups, while its optical performance offers the feel of a high-end L-series lens. This way you get the most out of your creative vision without having to work with large or heavy lenses.

The RF 45mm f/1.2 STM therefore offers the perfect balance between professional image quality and ease of use, and forms an attractive upgrade for photographers and filmmakers who want to expand their creative possibilities.
