Canon EOS R5 body

The Canon EOS R5 is a full-frame mirrorless camera designed for professional photographers and filmmakers. Even for photographers just starting out, this groundbreaking camera represents the next step in developing their talent. With the EOS R5, you can achieve things that were previously impossible — made possible in part by the 45-megapixel CMOS sensor, in-body image stabilisation system, and extensive video capabilities.

The camera features a 45 MP CMOS image sensor and offers the ability to shoot video in 8K resolution. With no fewer than 1,053 available AF area phase-detection points covering 100% of the frame, subject tracking is remarkably precise. The impressive ISO sensitivity range of 100–51200 (expandable to 50–102400) means the EOS R5 performs excellently in low-light situations. It also features an electronic shutter for shooting at up to 20fps, and a mechanical shutter for up to 12fps. The high-quality 0.5-inch OLED colour electronic viewfinder (EVF) keeps your subject clearly in view, reproducing even the finest details with lifelike accuracy.

Thanks to its innovative technology, shooting in extremely low-light conditions with accurate autofocus is well within reach. This mirrorless camera gives you the flexibility of a compact form factor, and the EOS R5 also supports silent shooting for both stills and video. This advanced full-frame mirrorless camera is built for phenomenal performance, and its cutting-edge technology makes the EOS R5 truly revolutionary in the world of professional mirrorless cameras.

Beyond stills, the EOS R5 is an exceptionally capable camera for professional video work. It shoots in 8K quality across the full width of the full-frame sensor. For greater colour grading flexibility, you can take advantage of the C-Log function. Prefer to shoot in 4K? You're covered with up to 120fps at a maximum of 1,880 Mbps — ideal when you want to edit your footage and incorporate super slow-motion sequences into your videos. The Canon EOS R5 also features two memory card slots for storage: 1x CFexpress and 1x SD UHS-II, ensuring highly reliable and fast recording.
