Canon EOS C80

The Canon EOS C80 is a Cinema EOS camera with an RF mount. It features a 6K BSI sensor, built-in SDI, high-res video capturing, 16 stops of dynamic range, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, and triple base ISO. This is a cinema camera for creators of live productions, TV dramas, and documentaries.

Capture 6K footage thanks to the full-frame 35mm sensor. The camera features fast sensor readout. Shoot in 6K 30p internal RAW recording or 4K 4:2:2 10-bit recording from 6K oversampling. IP streaming is also supported, enabling real-time video transfer via the internet while you're recording. Data management is made even easier with the new file formats: XF HEVC S and XF-AVC S.

The Canon EOS C80 is equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with EOS iTR AF X. This offers filmmakers the following autofocus capabilities across the entire sensor surface: full sensor coverage, detection of people and animals (dogs/cats), face, head, and body tracking, and fast, accurate performance. Thanks to face recognition and customisable settings, you retain full control over focus.

The camera features an autofocus that performs well in low light thanks to the stacked BSI sensors. The stacking design delivers improved readout speed, which enhances autofocus capabilities and rolling shutter performance. Light capture is also improved, resulting in less image noise.

Another feature for reducing noise is triple base ISO. There are 3 base ISO levels, giving filmmakers the flexibility to achieve optimal signal-to-noise ratio performance — even in low-light environments at an ISO of 12,800. An automatic mode is available that switches automatically based on the ambient light level.

The C80 has built-in SDI and Ethernet connections. The SDI terminal enables simultaneous output with the HDMI terminal for even greater connectivity flexibility with external devices. With the built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet terminal, users can control the camera remotely.

The LCD panel is bright, ensuring excellent visibility at all times, even outdoors. The joystick has been positioned closer to the thumb for easier operation. The top handle is designed to accommodate a variety of accessories. The camera body features a multi-function high-speed shoe. There is room for 2 SD cards, making it easy to write your recordings.
