Vortex Crossfire HD 20-60x80 Spotting Scope
The Vortex Crossfire HD 20-60x80 Spotting Scope is the powerful tool you've been waiting for. With the proven performance and reliability you expect from a Crossfire. The wide field of view is ideal for exploring any environment. Arca-Swiss compatible and therefore easy to mount on most tripods.
The Crossfire HD spotting scope is available in different versions to suit your specific purpose of use. General considerations when buying are:
- Magnification: Higher magnifications offer more detail but can amplify vibration and motion blur. A tripod is then a useful accessory
- Lens: Larger lenses collect more light, resulting in brighter images. Especially in low light. This also makes the scope heavier and less portable
- Portability: Smaller scopes are lighter and easier to carry, while larger scopes are more suitable for observations from 1 fixed location
As a result, your first spotting scope might be the only one you ever need.
The Vortex Crossfire HD 20-60x80 Spotting Scope can be used for, among other things:
- Bird watching: Ideal for spotting birds at medium distances, thanks to its portability and sufficient magnification
- Nature observation: Suitable for observing animals in their natural habitat without disturbing them
- Shooting sports: Good for checking targets at shorter distances while shooting
- Hiking: Its compactness and lighter weight make this scope handy for hiking and general outdoor activities
- Camping: Ideal for campers who want to observe nature and animals in their surroundings
The Crossfire HD 20-60x80 Spotting Scope comes in two variants, this model has a 45° view. This model is mainly used standing or sitting. A straight view is mainly used for viewing lying down or in a kneeling position. The straight model is also very suitable when viewing from a viewing booth or from a car.
