The Viltrox Vintage Z1 Flash Pro (Canon) is a compact camera flash gun in retro style. Weighing approximately 136 grams, with a matt silver metal housing and a classic lychee grain leather finish, the Vintage Z1 Pro combines a nostalgic appearance with modern flash functionality such as high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second and round touchscreen control.

Viltrox Vintage Z1 Flash Pro Canon

The Vintage Z1 Pro combines a matte silver metal housing with a lychee-grain leather detail and a mechanical dial, inspired by classic flashguns from the analogue era. Underneath that vintage skin, however, is a fully digital interior with a round touchscreen that lets you switch between flash modes in just a few taps.

With dimensions of just 6.9 x 5 x 7.3cm and a weight of around 136 grams, the Vintage Z1 Pro fits in a coat pocket or camera bag. This means you always have it at hand for reportage, street photography or as fill flash on the go, without unnecessarily disrupting the look of your camera.

The flash supports high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, so you can work with a wide aperture even in full sun without an underexposed background. The single-contact hot shoe communication also makes the Vintage Z1 Pro compatible with Canon, Sony, Nikon and Fuji bodies; this Canon variant is optimised for Canon cameras.

Besides TTL (A) and manual mode, the Vintage Z1 Pro has an S1 mode (triggered in sync via another flash) and an S2 mode (pre-flash suppression). This means you can also use it as a slave flash in a multi-flash setup, even in combination with cameras that use a pre-flash.

The recycle time of 0.2 to 1 second lets you keep shooting at a brisk pace. No more lost moments while you wait for the flash to recharge. Ideal for events, portraits and street photography where timing counts.
