The Urth 55mm Essentials Filter Kit Pro bundles four professional filters in one set: UV, CPL, ND8, and ND1000. Together they give you complete creative control, from bright daylight to extremely long shutter speeds. The UV filter is made from ionically hardened AERO-C10 glass and permanently protects your front lens element against scratches, dust, and knocks, while the other three filters are made from German SCHOTT B270 optical glass.

All filters in the set share the same 34-layer double-sided CoraNano Max coating, which limits reflections to 1.5% and thereby counters ghosting and lens flare. Thanks to True Color transmission, your images retain their natural colour, without unwanted colour cast.

The CPL filter suppresses reflections on glass and water, deepens blue skies, and saturates colours, with a light reduction of approximately 1.3 stops. The ND8 filter reduces the light by 3 stops, allowing you to keep working with a wide aperture in bright light for a shallow depth of field, or as a filmmaker to maintain the right shutter speed for smooth motion. The ND1000 filter goes further with a light reduction of 10 stops, for extremely long shutter speeds during the day: think flowing water, smoothed-out cloudy skies, and pronounced motion effects.
