Sony FE 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS + 1.4 Teleconverter

The Sony FE 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS + Sony E-Mount 1.4x Teleconverter brings even the most distant subjects up close. Ideal for birds, wildlife and sports at a great distance. This gives you a range of 600 to 840mm in one lightweight set.

Sony FE 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS

The Sony FE 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS gets more out of your everyday super telephoto photography. Weighing just 995 grams and featuring a compact housing, you can leave the tripod at home and move freely with your subject. The lens is perfectly balanced for comfortable handheld shooting, so you're always ready the moment the action unfolds.

As a G Master lens, it delivers exceptional image quality. The optical construction combines Super ED and ED glass elements that counteract chromatic aberrations. The Nano AR Coating II suppresses reflections and flare, while the rounded 11-blade aperture creates beautiful, soft bokeh and strong subject separation.

For fast moving subjects, two XD linear motors provide lightning fast, precise autofocus with exceptional tracking, so you capture unpredictable moments before they pass. Thanks to the focus range limiter and the four focus hold buttons around the lens, you stay in control, even during intensive use. With the function ring and full time DMF, you tailor the operation to your own way of working.

The Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation with multiple modes keeps your images sharp at the long focal length, and the removable tripod mount lets you adapt the lens to your setup. The dust and moisture resistant design and the fluorine coating on the front element make the lens ready to go anywhere with you, even during demanding outdoor shoots.

Sony E-Mount 1.4x Teleconverter

With the high quality Sony E-Mount 1.4x teleconverter, you can extend your lens's focal length by forty percent without losing image quality. Communication between the lens and camera body, such as passing data for metering, autofocus and optical image stabilisation, is fully supported. The Sony full frame E-mount teleconverter also has a dust and moisture resistant construction, making it resistant to the harshest conditions.

An extender is a compact, lightweight solution for focusing on your subject at a larger size. With the Sony E-Mount 1.4x teleconverter, for example, you can shoot with the Sony FE 70-200mm F/2.8 GM OSS lens as if it were a lens with a range of 98-280mm. The maximum aperture is reduced by around one f-stop. This means that with a lens with a maximum aperture of f/2.8, you can shoot at f/4.0 as the maximum aperture.
