Sigma Protector filter 72mm

The Sigma Protector filter 72mm is a clear protective filter for lenses with a 72 millimetre filter thread. The filter keeps dust, moisture, fingerprints and scratches away from your front element. The glass is colourless and has a filter factor of 1x, so your exposure and colour rendering stay the same.

The filter is multi-coated. This coating reduces reflections between the glass surfaces, so you have less trouble with flare and ghosting. The edge of the optical glass is blackened, so light does not reflect along the edge of the filter. The glass sits in a filter ring made of durable aluminium alloy.

Before you buy, check the filter size of your lens. You will usually find it on the front of the lens, next to the Ø symbol.
