The Shimoda Trolley DV Roller is designed for the separately available Shimoda Core Units from the DV series, but it also works with DSLR and mirrorless Core Units.

Shimoda Trolley DV Roller

The Shimoda Trolley DV Roller has been developed for the separately available Shimoda Core Units from the DV series, but it also works with DSLR and mirrorless Core Units. The roller is suitable for large cinema/video cameras from RED and Sony, as well as mirrorless and DSLR cameras, particularly in combination with large super-telephoto lenses.

The DV Roller is taller and deeper than the standard Carry-On Roller and makes a great companion for filmmakers who prefer to take their gear on wheels, or who want an optional, modular piece of luggage to complement their Action X70 backpack. The DV Roller accommodates the Extra Large DV Core Unit, or one Large DV and one Small DSLR Core Unit.

Features such as 100mm all-terrain wheels, a wide doctor's-bag-style opening, and a robust extendable handle complement an already premium product that works with the modular Core Unit system. (\*Core units sold separately)

Features of the Shimoda Trolley DV Roller

  • When combined with a large or extra-large DV Core Unit, the DV Roller is the perfect match for heavy cinema camera systems and DSLRs with super telephoto lenses that are best carried rolled rather than on your back. This roller is specifically designed for Digital Video Core Units, but can also accommodate all other Core Units. The elegant style makes it an excellent choice for everything from studio and location shoots to client presentations and meetings
  • The doctor's bag-style opening provides wide, unobstructed access to your equipment and takes up minimal space whether open or closed
  • Compatible with L, XL DV and all DSLR and mirrorless Core Units and accessory cases, so you can fully customise the layout
  • Each side of the bag features a full-length zip pocket. One side fits travel documents and a phone case, whilst the other side accommodates larger accessories such as a water bottle. Both sides have compression straps, so you can take a medium-sized tripod with you if needed
  • The DV Roller uses the same lightweight, water-resistant, carbonate PU-coated ripstop nylon as the Shimoda backpacks. This guarantees the same reliable and consistent quality and performance for both travel and mountain use. They also pair perfectly with travel
