The Shimoda Core is a medium unit. You can use it in the Action X30 and X50 backpacks for seamless side access, but the unit can also be used in the Shimoda backpack or roller. The system allows you to determine the layout yourself through dividers and side panels. They are lightweight and easy to move, but sturdy due to the aluminium frame.

The unit is ideal for mirrorless and DSLR cameras up to 12 cm (4.7 inches) long, along with lenses up to 70-200 mm F2.8. The units are easy to stack. Doing so allows you to store several things neatly. The exterior is made of water-repellent material.
