Ricoh GR IV Compact Camera 30th Anniversary Edition Kit
The Ricoh GR IV 30th Anniversary Edition Kit celebrates the 30th anniversary of the GR series under the motto "Forever a Snapshooter". Since the introduction of the RICOH GR1 film camera in October 1996, the series has grown into an indispensable tool for professionals and advanced photographers, with a lasting focus on high image quality, fast response times and portability. This special model is based on the GR IV, winner of the TIPA WORLD AWARDS 2026 for Best APS-C Compact Camera, and is limited worldwide to 6,000 units.
The anniversary model sets itself apart from the standard model with the GN-3 (30th) lens rings: a lens ring cap with a diamond cut, inspired by the design of the GR1 lens. The cut surfaces are designed to reflect light only when the lens is retracted, so your subject is not disturbed while shooting. The shutter button and the buttons on the back are finished in a dark silver tone, inspired by the surface of the GR1, and when switching off, an exclusive screen appears with the GR 30th Anniversary Edition logo. The exterior is black and the inner lining light grey, reminiscent of the black-grey designs of earlier GR models.
Technically, the GR IV delivers top performance in a compact body. The redesigned 28mm (equivalent) f/2.8 GR lens works together with an APS-C back-illuminated CMOS sensor of approximately 25.74 megapixels and the GR ENGINE 7 processor for high-contrast, sharp images right into the corners. The camera starts up in approximately 0.6 seconds, and the hybrid autofocus system focuses lightning-fast and accurately. The sensor-shift image stabilisation (SR) compensates up to six stops, and with the new Snap Distance-Priority AE (Sn) exposure mode you take photos with an emphasised depth of field.
With the 3.0-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and the new Cinema Mode and Image Control, you have everything at hand to work creatively on the go. The set is fully put together for both the photographer and the collector. Alongside the camera you receive a genuine leather finger strap (GS-4, 30th), a metal hot shoe cover with anniversary engraving (GK-2, 30th), a pre-mounted diamond-cut ring cap plus a black ring cap, and an exclusive set of 16 pins showing the fourteen GR models released so far, supplemented with two special pins bearing the anniversary and GR logo.
