The Pulsar Thermal Imaging Binoculars Merger LRF XP35 is the most compact model in the range, but offers the widest field of view in its class: 17.8°. At the same time, it features great thermal sensitivity for highly informative observation in the harshest conditions.
The Merger LRF represents the classic thermal binocular design with an integrated laser rangefinder. These binoculars are remarkably ergonomic and comfortable. They enable two-eye observation and reduce eye fatigue. They are equipped with top-class components that illustrate European quality.
The Merger LRF series offers a wide range of European-made sensors tailored to different user needs.
The optical magnification of the unit can be increased by digital zoom. Even at the highest zoom level, image detail is sufficient to identify the smallest object details. Advanced algorithms improve image quality and help achieve sharp and detailed images.
Wide field of view simplifies scanning and spotting hot objects, while minimising the effects of image shake and increasing situational awareness. Excellent image detail at basic magnification combined with a wide field of view provides improved viewing comfort and scèneperception.
Powerful optics combined with professional thermal image sensors provide exceptional detection capabilities. Top Merger LRF units can detect hot objects at distances of more than 2 km.
Use brightness and contrast adjustments to maximise image detail and informative value in specific observation conditions. The user mode function stores selected brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory, ensuring optimum image quality for the next use of the thermal imager, without the need for additional adjustments.
The Merger LRF thermal imager is built with the classic design of daytime binoculars. With a small form factor, these thermal imaging scopes lie comfortably in the hand, yet offer attractive external aesthetics and exemplary ergonomics. The six function buttons are located in the comfort access area and the most frequently used digital device functions are activated with ééa single touch.
The optical design of the Merger LRF binoculars takes into account the nature of human vision. It is natural for a person to receive visual information through two visual channels simultaneously. Looking with two eyes is less tiring than looking with ééone eye. This means better detection of small or faint objects and better performance in low-contrast scenarios than comparable monocular thermal imagers with the same technical level. The interpupillary distance in the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 63 to 74 mm in accordance with the individual characteristics of a given user.
