NiSi JetMag Pro ND100000 UV/IR Cut 82MAG Solar Filter

With the NiSi JetMag Pro ND100000 UV/IR Cut 82MAG Solar Filter, you apply a 16.6-stop light reduction (ND100000) for solar photography, such as sunspot shots, partial or annular solar eclipses and ISS solar transits.

The filter completely blocks UV and IR wavelengths, allowing only visible light to reach the sensor. This prevents the colour shifts often seen with traditional high-density ND filters. Full Spectrum ND technology ensures neutral density without colour shift across the visible spectrum, while the double-sided nano coating reduces reflections and lens flare.

The filter is part of the JetMag Pro magnetic system, allowing you to attach or remove the filter in seconds. The patented locking mechanism keeps the filter firmly in place, even while adjusting the composition or when using longer focal lengths. You lock the filter by rotating it until the handle aligns with the white line on the adapter; to unlock it, rotate the handle away from the line.

The ultra-slim aluminium frame prevents vignetting, even with wide-angle lenses: with two stacked filters, you see no vignetting at 16mm on full-frame sensors. You use the filter with JetMag adapters in sizes 82mm, 77mm, 72mm, 67mm and 62mm to 82MAG. Thanks to the blue handles, you can quickly identify the filter, even when stacking it with other JetMag Pro filters.

The coating is water-repellent, oil- and dust-resistant and reduces lens flare, allowing you to use the filter in field conditions. The filter is made of optical glass with an aluminium frame.
