The NiSi JetMag Pro HDF 1/2 82MAG magnetic filter uses advanced microlens technology to evenly distribute highlights across bright areas, such as skin highlights, light sources and reflective surfaces. The result is a soft, film-like glow that creates a naturally-looking halo and adds depth and emotion to photos and videos without overexposing fine details.

NiSi JetMag Pro HDF 1/2 82MAG

Inspired by the timeless look of classic film, the HDF filter softens harsh highlights while maintaining a refined, cinematic finish. It's ideal for creating dreamy images, flattering portraits, atmospheric night scenes, and warm vintage-style shots. Unlike many standard diffusion filters that can flatten contrast, the HDF filter is designed to preserve tonal balance and image clarity. Shadows remain rich, midtones stay vibrant, and highlights are softened without affecting the overall structure of the image.

Both sides of the filter feature a multi-layer nano coating that reduces reflections and glare while providing water- and oil-resistant protection. This makes the filter easier to clean and maintain, even in demanding outdoor conditions. The JetMag Pro magnetic mount allows you to attach or remove the filter quickly, securely, and with minimal effort. The patented locking mechanism prevents accidental detachment, even when stacking multiple JetMag Pro filters.

The slim frame minimises the risk of vignetting, making the filter suitable for wide-angle lenses, including full-frame focal lengths down to 16 mm. This makes it an excellent choice for landscape, travel, street, portrait, and video photography, where edge-to-edge sharpness matters. The NiSi JetMag Pro HDF magnetic highlight diffusion filter is ideal for photographers and filmmakers who want to add timeless beauty, gentle highlight control, and a cinematic glow to their images — without compromising on clarity, contrast, or practical usability in the field.
