Lens construction

The Nikon Z 28-400mm has a construction of 21 elements in 15 groups. The four ED and three aspherical lens elements reduce flares and ghosting and limit aspherical aberrations in your images.

In addition, this lens has Nikon's stepping motor for autofocus, which is not only fast, but also accurate and quiet. Ideal for videos. The lens has built-in optical image stabilization of 5.0 stops, so that vibrations in your image are kept to a minimum. This way, your shots are always sharp, even in low-light situations.
