The Nikon Water Guard is a protective accessory for photographers using the SB-5000 Speedlight. It protects the flash hot shoe against water ingress when used in damp conditions.

Nikon Water Guard for SB-5000 Speedlight

The Nikon Water Guard has been specially developed for the SB-5000 AF Speedlight and protects the flash hot shoe connection against water and moisture. During outdoor photography, events in the rain or other damp conditions, the hot shoe is a vulnerable point. The Water Guard seals it off and keeps the connection between flash and camera protected, so you can work worry-free even in wet conditions.

The guard fits the SB-5000 precisely and, as an original Nikon accessory, is designed for a perfect fit. It is only compatible with the Nikon SB-5000 AF Speedlight.
