The D6's Autofocus engine is faster than ever. You have access to 105 cross-type focus sensors that can be used individually or as a group, giving you optimal control over where the camera focuses. Subject recognition has also been improved over previous models, allowing the D6 to effortlessly track subjects for continuous focusing. When shooting sports or other events, you can easily keep your subject's eyes sharp using 3D-tracking AF. Even in low-light conditions, the Autofocus remains fast, thanks to a minimum AF sensitivity of -4.5 EV.
The D6's dynamic range gives you flexibility in any situation, even at low and high ISO sensitivity values. The 0.72x optical Viewfinder features OLED elements, so you can always follow the action in real time at high speed.
