The Nikon AR-11 is a soft release shutter button made from ebonite. This makes pressing the shutter button feel even lighter.

The Nikon AR-11 can be attached to the Nikon Df DSLR by screwing it onto the shutter release socket on the camera's shutter button. It is a removable button that ensures vibration-free operation. The top is made of ebonite, giving the button a smooth feel. Ebonite is commonly used for items such as fountain pens and the mouthpieces of wind instruments. Over time, the ebonite moulds itself to the shape of your finger.
