Leica M EV1
The Leica M EV1 is the first M camera with an integrated Electronic viewfinder (EVF). It combines modern technologies with new creative possibilities that will surprise both seasoned M photographers and newcomers alike.
Of course, the M EV1 has everything you expect from Leica: precision, the iconic design and uncompromising craftsmanship. The Electronic viewfinder (EVF) delivers a bright, true-to-life image at 5.76 Megapixel, so you see exactly what you're capturing. The real-time preview of the field of view and focus makes it easier than ever to work with ultra-wide-angle, telephoto and macro lenses.
Inside the camera sits a powerful Full-frame sensor BSI CMOS with triple resolution technology. This sensor consistently delivers impressive, dynamic images at a resolution of 18, 36 or 60 Megapixel. You'll also enjoy natural Colour rendering and low noise levels.
Achieve precise focus thanks to focus peaking and focus zoom — even at minimal Depth of field. The dioptre correction of -4 to +2 additionally ensures optimal vision tailored to the user.
A Maestro III image Processor handles all your data at lightning speed. Images are stored on the internal 64 GB memory or on an SD card, in DNG and JPEG format, so you get maximum flexibility for post-processing.
Connect the Leica M EV1 to the app effortlessly via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or a wired connection. This lets you share your images instantly or work energy-efficiently via Bluetooth Low Energy. The camera also features Content Credentials technology, which gives your photos a digital signature that verifies their origin and any edits made.
The design stays true to the iconic M aesthetic: minimalist, functional and refined. The body features a metal housing and an artificial leather covering with a subtle diamond pattern. The camera stands out thanks to its modern front panel, free from a traditional Rangefinder camera window.
Charging tip: For best results, use the supplied USB-A–C cable together with a USB charger (DCP). Charging via a computer USB port often does not work or is significantly slower.
