The 60-megapixel full-frame BSI CMOS sensor with Triple Resolution Technology delivers the image quality with exceptional resolution you expect from Leica. With RAW or JPEG options in 60, 36 or 18 megapixels, the camera is suitable for a wide range of applications. Thanks to a dynamic range of 15 stops, images have beautiful contrast with bright highlights and precise details. An ISO range of 50 to 100,000 ensures you can shoot in any lighting condition with minimal noise. The built-in 5-axis image stabilisation (IBIS) ensures sharp results, even at slower shutter speeds.
With the Leica Maestro IV processor, you benefit from fast and reliable processing of large photo and video files. The hybrid autofocus system combines phase detection, contrast detection and object recognition, allowing subjects to be focused on quickly and accurately. With slots for a CFexpress Type B and UHS-II SD card, even the largest video files are stored effortlessly. The USB-C port supports high speeds for data transfer, tethering and power supply, while the HDMI 2.1 output enables connection to external monitors or recording equipment. Thanks to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (MIMO), a stable, fast wireless connection with the Leica FOTOS app is guaranteed.
The Leica SL3 Reporter has a scratch-resistant dark green colour. It is covered with aramid fibre that provides extra protection against wear. This special covering gives you improved grip, providing greater stability when photographing or filming. The design is characterised by dark green paint, black controls and the absence of the red Leica logo. Latest firmware update available Leica continuously improves its cameras with firmware updates. These allow you to add new functions and optimise performance. Updates are available via the Leica website and can also be easily installed via the Leica FOTOS app (recommended) or via your camera’s menu. Registered users and Leica FOTOS users automatically receive notification of new updates.
