Hoya 49mm Y2 Pro (Yellow)

Hoya 49mm Y2 Pro (Yellow)

The Hoya 49mm Y2 Pro is a yellow filter mainly used for black and white photography and it ensures that the contrast in your shot is increased. This filter is especially useful for a clear contrast between the blue sky with clouds and the foreground. In addition, it provides a natural tonal reproduction. The Y2 Pro filter is not specifically intended for close or distant shots, but is often used for subjects at an intermediate distance. To prevent effects such as ghosting and reflections, each glass surface has three layers of anti-reflective coating. These coatings therefore offer better protection and help to keep the filter cleaner for longer. This Hoya 49mm Y2 Pro colour filter is made of optical glass for optimum clarity and it has an aluminium alloy filter ring, making it both durable and lightweight.
