The GoPro MISSION 1 is a compact cinematic camera for filmmakers, creators and serious enthusiasts who want cinema-grade image quality in an exceptionally compact and rugged package. GoPro calls the MISSION 1 the smallest, lightest and most rugged professional cinematic camera in the world. The camera is waterproof down to 20 metres and built to handle heavy use, without an additional housing.
At its core is a 1" 50-megapixel sensor (8192 x 6144), powered by the new GP3 processor that delivers double the pixel-processing power compared to the previous generation. The MISSION 1 records video in 8K Open Gate (4:3) up to 30fps, 4K up to 120fps and Full HD up to 240fps for slow motion. Thanks to Open Gate mode, you use the full sensor area, delivering 33% more resolution and maximum freedom for reframing in post, ideal when you deliver content for multiple formats. Video is saved in H.265 with a maximum bitrate of 240Mbps in 8- or 10-bit colour depth, including HLG HDR. You can capture photos at 50 megapixels with RAW output. For creative timelapse shots, you have TimeWarp, Time Lapse, Night Lapse, Star Trails, Light Painting and Vehicle Light Trails.
The MISSION 1 features a 2.59" touchscreen (OLED) on the rear and a 1.4" colour display on the front. With 9 voice commands, you can control the camera hands-free. Want to mount it on a tripod or attach it to a rig? The integrated 1/4-20" mount and GoPro mounting feet make it easy. Connect to your smartphone via the GoPro Quik app, with GPS, Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi on board. The Enduro 2 battery (2150 mAh) charges via USB-C from 0 to 80% in about 27 minutes. The included GoPro standard 14mm lens (equivalent 15-27mm, f/2.8) lets you get started right away.
