Drone Flight Academy DronePilot Basic Light

The DronePilot Basic Light course is the minimum required training for the EU drone certificate in the lowest risk category (EASA Open Category A1/A3). You complete this course entirely online at the Drone Flight Academy. After completing it, you can be confident that you're flying your drone in accordance with the latest EU regulations. You'll also learn to fly more safely and smartly. The course takes approximately 12 hours in total.

The platform consists of an online learning environment and two online theory exams. In the online learning environment, you build up knowledge using texts, videos, images, and practice questions. You then complete the course with two online theory exams. The first exam contains 40 questions. Once you pass the exam, you can apply for the European-recognised drone certificate through the RDW. After completing this course, you are certified to fly lightweight drones.
