DJI Cellular Dongle 2
The DJI Cellular Dongle 2 connects DJI devices to 4G networks and provides Antenna Switch Diversity (ASDIV) for stable, high-speed connectivity. It improves video transmission by reducing signal loss over 4G. Integrated with DJI Air 3, it reduces the risks of disconnection and increases flight safety.
Important notice: to use this dongle legally, you need to purchase a drone-specific SIM card and acquire an OFCOM Unmanned Aircraft System licence (learn more at OFCOM.org.uk).
The next-generation Cellular Dongle 2 features Antenna Switch Diversity (ASDIV) for superior performance, allowing users to tackle complex flight scenarios with ease.
The Cellular Dongle 2 can connect your DJI devices to 4G networks. It provides stable, high-speed connectivity services, allowing you to experience multiple features, such as Enhanced Transmission.
Enhanced Transmission: Based on the original video transmission, this dongle works in synergy with 4G networks to overcome obstacles or interference. If the original video transmission signal is compromised, you can still rely on 4G connectivity to control the drone, significantly reducing the chance of disconnection.
For DJI Mini 4 Pro users, the mounting kit (which includes 4G antennas) must be used in conjunction.
For DJI Air 3 users, you can insert the Cellular Dongle 2 directly into the aircraft fuselage, without the need for an installation kit.
The Cellular Dongle 2 achieves integrated installation with DJI Air 3 for the first time. It can be inserted directly into the aircraft fuselage without the need for an installation kit, allowing efficient access to a 4G network. In cases where the original O4 video transmission signal is obstructed or disrupted, you can continue to control the drone over the 4G network, significantly reducing the chance of disconnection and effectively improving flight safety.
Tips:
If using a SIM card, contact your local mobile network operator to purchase one.
When using Enhanced Transmission, always use the drone in areas where the 4G signal on the remote control or smartphone is at or near full strength. Enhanced Transmission relies on a 4G network, which can cause delays and hiccups. Always fly with caution.
DJI reserves the right to terminate Enhanced Transmission service at any time in accordance with local laws and regulations. Termination of this service does not affect other connectivity features of the Cellular Dongle 2.
Due to privacy regulations and policies, you must purchase the appropriate version of the Enhanced Transmission service that matches your location. Two versions are available: one for mainland China and one for countries and regions outside mainland China.
Compatibility: DJI Air 3, DJI Mini 4 Pro (mounting kit required).
