The Canon CR-X300 is a compact yet robust PTZ camera (pan, tilt, zoom) designed for professional remote video recording. With high-quality 4K video and compatibility with a wide range of IP protocols, it is ideal for outdoor productions.

Thanks to the DIGIC DV6 processor, a 1/2.3" CMOS sensor and Canon's advanced imaging technology, you can shoot impressive 4K UHD up to 30p at 4:2:2 10-bit. The stabilised lens with 20x optical zoom and a maximum aperture of f/1.8 (at wide angle) delivers stable, sharp images even in challenging lighting conditions. In addition, the camera's IR Cut Filter, which enhances infrared performance, makes it highly suitable for shooting in very low light — such as reality TV or nocturnal nature scenes. In high-light situations, you benefit from the built-in graduated ND filter with a maximum of 1/8 ND. Canon's renowned Hybrid AF system ensures smooth focusing — even in low ambient light.

Like the other cameras in Canon's PTZ camera range, the CR-X300 is compatible with a variety of protocols for video transmission, camera control and 4K video streaming, including RTMP/RTMPS, NDI|HX1, RTP/RTSP Standard Communication Protocol and Canon's XC protocol — for direct streaming to a CDN (Content Delivery Network). This guarantees an efficient production workflow at all times. A key advantage of using the XC protocol is that other PTZ cameras and camcorders — including those from the Cinema EOS series — can be used within the same production system as the CR-X300. The CR-X300 is also equipped with a wide range of connectivity options, including Power over Ethernet (PoE++), HDMI and 6G-SDI.

The advanced pan and tilt drive mechanism moves at a variable speed of 0.3° per second up to 60° per second. Horizontally (pan), it has a range of 180°, while vertically (tilt) it moves between -40° and +21.5°. The CR-X300 is compatible with the Canon RC-IP100 controller and the Remote Camera Control Application via IP, allowing you to quickly and easily adjust settings remotely at any time.
