Bubblebee The Lav Concealer For Sennheiser MKE-2, White
The Lav Concealer for the Sennheiser MKE-2 is a soft, flexible holder that can be attached in a variety of ways and adapts to the surface it is mounted on. The soft rubber also acts as a shock-absorbing mount, protecting the microphone capsule from vibrations and absorbing handling noise. By absorbing handling noise, you get clearer audio recordings and therefore better sound quality. This Lav Concealer features a Sennheiser MKE-2 mount that fits perfectly around the capsule and makes it easier to conceal your microphone. It also protects against adhesive residue that can occur when repeatedly applying tape directly to the microphone. The Lav Concealer can be attached directly to skin or clothing using Lav Concealer Tape. The tape is super strong, hypoallergenic, and easy to apply, so you can attach it to fabric or skin before a recording session without any worries. The Lav Concealer is also more environmentally friendly, as the natural rubber used is biodegradable. In terms of clarity, the use of soft, flexible rubber means it absorbs more vibrations than harder materials (e.g. plastic), preventing unwanted noise from ever reaching the capsule. The Lav Concealer comes with a fabric protective cap and a clothing clip made from resilient metal. These attach to the concealer via small holes on the front and back. By combining two different materials, friction or vibrations from one material are prevented from transferring to the other and ultimately reaching the capsule. The fabric protective cap and clothing clip are removable and can be attached to either the front or back of the lav concealer to lift the fabric away from the entire concealer and quickly attach it to clothing seams.
