Broncolor Scoro 1600 S WiFi / RFS 2
The Broncolor Scoro 1600 S WiFi / RFS 2 features the advanced capabilities that photographers have come to expect from Broncolor. The Scoro S offers independent control of the power across its 3 flash outputs in steps of 1/10 or 1 stop over a range of 9 stops. Settings can be viewed on the clearly visible illuminated LCD display. ECTC technology (Enhanced Color Temperature Control), designed to prevent colour shifts across the entire output range, is built in. You can also use it to select your own colour temperature in steps of 200K.
Broncolor has introduced Speed Mode in the Scoro S, reducing charging time and flash duration by up to 50%, while reducing maximum output by 25%. This allows you to trigger up to 10 flashes per second at full power and up to 50 exposures at lower settings. Fan cooling prevents the pack from overheating. Recycling is impressively fast — 0.02 to 1.1 seconds in normal mode and a lightning-fast 0.02 to 0.6 seconds in Speed Mode at 120 VAC. Renowned for its extremely short flash duration, the Scoro S does not disappoint. The shortest flash duration is 1/10,000 at t0.1 and 1/14,000 at t0.5 in both normal and Speed Mode. The Broncolor Scoro S 1600 WiFi RFS 2 features a 100 to 240 VAC power supply for worldwide use.
Flash duration and light output are the two decisive factors in light control. A microprocessor in Scoro and Move battery packs calculates the shortest or longest flash duration for a given output. This enables rapid flash sequences of up to 50 flashes per second.
The Scoro S has three lamp outputs. Each lamp output has an individual power controller with LED display, adjustable independently of the other outputs. The unit therefore behaves as three independent power packs. You have a choice of up to 9 stops to set the flash power you need.
In Speed Mode, charging time and flash duration are reduced by up to 50%, while power is reduced by 25%. This way you can achieve up to ten flashes per second at full power, or up to 50 at low power. This makes the Scoro S 1600 WiFi RFS 2 a top-tier flash for fashion shoots, and with its fan cooling, even extended flash sequences are no problem.
All Scoro S 1600 WiFi RFS 2 functions can be controlled wirelessly using an optional transmitter, or can be easily operated via the bronControl app thanks to revised hardware and software. Via a WiFi connection, both mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) and desktop computers can communicate with this high-end power pack.
