All Billingham bags are finished with Top Grain leather, the outermost and therefore strongest layer of the hide. This often results in beautiful grain patterns visible on the leather. Brass is used primarily for the hardware — incredibly strong and rust-free. The bag's lining does not fray, is anti-static, and prevents condensation. The zips are extremely flat (less friction and therefore less wear) and are woven into the zip tape rather than stitched. No stitch holes in the zip closure, further improving water resistance. What is almost impossible to describe is the ease of use of a Billingham bag.
