The Canon EOS R6 V has active cooling. The built-in fan and ventilation grilles keep the temperature stable during intensive use. This lets you film continuously for up to 6 hours in high resolution, without the camera overheating. That makes the Canon EOS R6 V well suited for events, documentaries and other situations where you need to keep recording for a long time.
Even when there's movement, the camera keeps your subject well in frame. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II recognizes people, animals and vehicles. Autofocus automatically tracks eyes, faces, heads and bodies. The built-in 5-axis IBIS also offers up to 7.5 stops of correction. This means you get stable footage even when filming or shooting handheld.

The Canon EOS R6 V films in 7K 60fps RAW and uses the full 3:2 sensor height via Open Gate. This lets you capture plenty of image information and gives you more freedom when creating content for different channels. You can easily crop one recording afterwards to 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for social media, or any other aspect ratio. The recording is captured internally in 12-bit RAW, giving you plenty of room for color correction and post-production.
Prefer working with smaller files? Then choose 4K up to 60fps. For slow motion, film in 4K up to 120fps, or in 2K and Full HD up to 180fps. The two card slots for CFexpress Type B and SD are handy for backups, relay recording or proxy files alongside your main recording. The Canon Log 2 and Canon Log 3 color profiles give you more control over color, contrast and dynamic range during post-production.
