FAQ

With remote valuation and trade-in, you first provide the details of your equipment online, after which you receive an estimated value by email. You then send the equipment to us free of charge. Once we receive it, we carefully assess it and you will receive a final offer within approximately three working days after arrival.

Please note that processing times may vary due to courier delays or depending on the country of origin. Not all models are eligible for online valuation and trade-in, and we may refuse a trade-in if the product is not functioning properly or its stated condition is incorrect. The credit you receive can be spent in our webshop and is not paid out in cash.

At Kamera Express, you can sell or trade in equipment such as cameras (both analogue and digital), lenses, video cameras, battery grips, and flashes. If you would like to offer a different type of item, please contact us by email to discuss the possibilities.

The following equipment cannot be sold or traded in at Kamera Express: drones, gimbals, printers, PC input devices, and storage media. In addition, we do not accept very old digital items, products with too low a value, or faulty equipment.

Yes, that is definitely possible! When filling in your trade-in/sell request, you can add multiple products. You will find this option after selecting either “Send in” or “Hand in at the store.”

Please send or bring as many original accessories as possible: battery, charger, cables, lens hood, caps, and packaging. We may increase or decrease your price offer based on the original accessories you include.

At Kamera Express, we assess your product based on four condition grades (6 to 9). Condition 9 means the product is as good as new, complete with original accessories and an undamaged box. Condition 8 indicates only very light signs of use. If your product shows normal signs of use, such as minor scratches on the body, a speck of dust in the lens, or a mark on the coating, it falls under condition 7. Condition 6 is for products with clear signs of use, but which still function fully. This makes it easy to determine the condition of your equipment.

Your request is completely non-binding. Even if you have already sent in your items for the final valuation or brought them to one of our stores, you are not obliged to accept the final offer.

The amount will be transferred to the provided bank account within 5 to 10 working days.

That is not possible, but you can of course sell the product to us.


Your equipment is taken in under the margin scheme, so there is no VAT involved when we accept items from private individuals. Business customers can trade in with VAT included. For this, you can contact us at: tweedehands@kamera-express.nl

All trade-in transactions are checked and recorded in the Digital Pawnbroker Register. Identification may be requested. The trade-in value applies as a minimum order value; cash payment is not possible. Online valuations assume a complete and fully working product; missing parts or damage may reduce the final value.

Certain products, such as drones, gimbals, printers, PC peripherals, and storage media, cannot be traded in. Kamera Express may refuse models and is not responsible for loss or damage prior to receipt. Trade-ins can only be submitted after an online valuation; without registration, they will not be processed.
